Here we are now, entertain us

Matthew and a few of his friends have formed a band. They call themselves Tomorrow's Yesterday, and they played their first 'gig' last night at the annual school Arts Night. Considering they've only been rehearsing for a week, they did pretty well. Hell, they rocked the joint.

And now here's the Friday Random Ten:

1) The Mummers' Dance - Loreena McKennitt
2) A Journey In The Dark - Howard Shore
3) Journey - FM
4) Animal Zoo - Spirit
5) Sleepless (Intro) - Jacksoul
6) Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen
7) Shake It Up And Go - B.B. King
8) Dreamer - Supertramp
9) Roadside - Rise Against
10) My Box In A Box - "Bunny"

Wow... they were pretty good!  I don't like Nirvana much, but it was spot on musically! LOL  Wow!  Your kid in a band... you must be getting old, Paul!  LOL  Great name for the band.

be well,
Dawn

Not bad.  I like the name.  However, I'd have gone with Split Monkey Thyroid.  But, that's just me, and I'm not entirely normal.

They did a great job, though.  I'm kind of stunned that they only had been rehearsing  for about a week before the show.

Oh boy I can remember my first crush was on a kid who played in a band, he was the singer. The group's name is a good one...if they only had a week's practice can you imagine how good they will be after a few months? Be well,,,Sandi

Matt really has that nonchalant hair-flick talent in the bag, eh?

And it's an OK name for a band, I guess, but if they took the "morrow's Yester" out of it, the name would be exactly the same, and so much more efficient.

Just sayin'.

Matt rocks, too.  I knew he was practising the gee-tar, I didn't know how far he'd progressed.
