One year ago today

“When I stand before thee at the day's end, thou shalt see my scars and know that I had my wounds and also my healing.”--Rabindranath Tagore

Last year:
Ouch!

Today:

Healed_Hand

Can't see the scar very well in this shot.

Well, now...  That certainly isn't a hand that would pimp slap a graveyard tramp.

And I'm pretty certain it's not going to torch an airliner either...

This is a sad, sad day...

Wait.....that spot on your hand looks like, well, like, could that be your grandfather?  Come back to ask you to repent? If I turn sideways it sort of looks like Larry Flint, nevermind. ~Mary

Ouch is right when I looked at last years photo I really felt your pain. The ER doc did a great job! I can't see the scar.
Reminds me of the time, over 65 years ago, when I was trying to divide a hand of bananas. Knife wasen't very sharp until it hit me in about the ame area as yours. I worked for Mr. Dzierzski in his grocery store. His brother Joe who was our butcher dumped a big can of black pepper on it to stop the bleeding. I remeber the hour or so spent in the ER as they picked out the pepper. It was also seven stiches and i can still see their holes and count them. I took a picture that I may post tomorrow.
Also another pic of my chin which is a much longer story.

Should have shown before and after shots.
Then I'd know where to look.

Hey, you ought to go to a palm reader.
Bet they try to tell you the scar means something about your future.
Could be worth the price of admission!!

Amazing how well it healed... I'm impressed with how well our bodies heal after even the most traumatic of injuries. I checked out the before shot... big ouch! I've never had that many stitches anywhere, ever. I'll probably regret writing those words. bea

I think it's totally cool that you quoted Tagore.  One of my fave poets.
