Dog house

   Almost done.

It's all sided with 1x12 rough sawn pine boards. Now I just have to let it weather for a few weeks before I stain it and put the battens on. I'll post another picture when it's all done.

Here's what it looked like last time.

You're a better dog owner than I. (When my dog actually had a yard) his home was pre-fab. http://2writehands.blogspot.com

I still doubt he'll ever actually use it.

It looks like Shadow's righteous crib is up to code.  I think it needs a deck, and some windows.  Oh!  And sky-lights, a fireplace, a fridge, a sofa and probably a TV.

Can't wait til ya move in Paul. I'd love to see some pics of the inside. Is the wife letting you take your pillow?

None too shabby! Nice job.
Smear some peanut butter in the cracks from inside.
You might never get him out again. Wait... splinters! OUCH!
Never mind.

Ah.  Where I went for quantity, I see you went for quality.  Very nicely done!

It's really coing along!  If Shadow ever sits or lies on the roof, buy him a root beer and post the picture!

Ha! Karen, I was going to make almost the identical comment over at Simon's blog ( http://simianfarmer.blogs.com/simian_farmer/ ). His new dog house looks a lot more like a Snoopy house than mine does.
