All the fun and frivolity that billions of dollars can buy, without the bother of having to subject yourself to a third rate sporting experience along the way. My favourite ad? Anheuser Busch's Thank You spot. Heck, I'm not even American, and I had a tear in my eye watching that one. Bring the Boys (and Girls) back home!

Superbowl hoopla redux
Of course, in this internet age, who needs to worry about catching the Superbowl ads during the actual Superbowl game? Here they are on the internet the very next day. All the fun and frivolity that billions of dollars can buy, without the bother of having to subject yourself to a third rate sporting experience along the way. My favourite ad? Anheuser Busch's Thank You spot. Heck, I'm not even American, and I had a tear in my eye watching that one. Bring the Boys (and Girls) back home!

I really liked this ad... but, I actually missed it during the Super Bowl and had to catch it on the internet. I was busy in the kitchen when they cut to ads and didn't get to the TV in time <sigh>. I have to say though, as much as I love this ad, I still have to go with 'Suprise Dinner' with the cat as my very favorite!<g>

I agree. I also liked the Ameriquest "you're being robbed" one. That was funny.

Hey Paul, I had a bunch of guys over and we watched the HD feed from Fox
that had all the American commercials.
The one that got the most laughs was the the commercial with the guy making
dinner for his wife or girlfriend. Just before she walks in the door, her
cat knocks over the tomato sauce. He freaks and picks up the cat with a
butcher knife in hand (he was cutting up food), just then, in walks the
girlfriend.
I forget what the commercial was for but it was classic.

I watched the game with a bunch of retired military folk, and that one was the favorite... unanimous!
